Baby quilt

I finished this quilt last night. I made it for my niece who had a baby a few weeks ago. It's hard to find cute fabrics for boy quilts. When I saw these fabrics I fell in love with them immediately. I was trying out the Triangle Square Up Ruler from the "Quilt In A Day" series. It made the pinwheel blocks work up so fast and precise! I didn't have a pattern -- just made it up as I went. This is the second one I made -- I love it so much that I couldn't do just one.

I love the fabrics you used for the baby quilt! Very nice! I am sure the little one will love to snuggle in it for years to come... 8-)

The quilt looks great. I just love that blue and brown together. The blue carriage fabric is neat. I think he'll just love it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and your comments. I find the clips are easier to use than pins. The bonus is that I don't stick myself with the clips. I do enough of that with the needle!
