Antique quilt

This is a quilt that was hand pieced by my mother-in-law's grandmother for her high school graduation. I'm machine quilting it right now for my MIL. I did about 12 rows and decided I didn't like the design I was using. I tried unpicking it -- what a pain! Guess I will just stick with the design. I really would have liked to hand quilt it, but that would never happen. Just don't have time for that anymore. It's such a great piece of history that I'm nervous to even touch it!!

Thought for the day: "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint you can on it!" (Danny Kaye)

Have a colorful day!

Wow! Wonderful! Are all the blocks the same?
