Hexagon Quilt

My McCall's Quilting October 2008 magazine arrived last week. There's a hexagon quilt that really caught my eye. It's made from Wee Play Jelly Rolls by Moda. I've ordered a couple of rolls and on-line and can't wait for them to arrive. I'm obsessed with this block -- even dreamed about it -- it's driving me crazy!

I had some fat quarters of Monkey Play and decided to try a baby size. It turned out pretty good. I'm glad I practiced on this before I try the other fabric. Now I can't wait to get it quilted up. I'm saving it for my next grandchild (Yes, this is a bribe to my married kids -- ha ha!)

I finished it up this morning while I watched on old Heath Ledger film, "10 Things I Hate About You". I'm going to have to add that one to my Heath Collection. Such a loss to have him gone.

I love it! Is this why you missed the movie? :)

Can't wait to see it all quilted up.

This is so dang cute! You will have to do a family class on this one.

We do need another girls night at the movies.
