Rain, rain, go away. . . .

Enough already! I'm so sick of the rain - and I LOVE rain. You'd think we lived in Oregon or Washington.
We had a little swamp by the rain gutter out back. I stepped in it and went up to my ankles in smushy wetness.
This was about the only sun we saw today.

Gary and I both had today off - his first Saturday off in months. Gary loaded the 4-wheelers last night so we could get up and go, but we woke up to windy, cold weather.

Every cloud has a silver lining - right? For me it was a trip up to South Jordan to one of my favorite quilt stores. He was a good sport and drove me up there, went in and shopped with me (the only man in the store), and pulled out his wallet to pay.
A fun collection for summer.

We've been trying to decide what color to paint our bedroom. I found a picture in a magazine last night in the greens/browns that we both loved. Material Girls had a display quilt out of these fabrics are the right colors - yeah! Now I've got a little project to make a new quilt for our bed.
