BrookLynn is FINALLY doing better --Yeah! They had her on the ventilator from Tuesday to this last Tuesday, I think (I'm losing track of time). The liver cyst is going away and the infection. They put in a Broviac catheter this morning to give her the antibiotics and do blood draws. They had to sedate her for that procedure and put her back on the ventilator. Jared just called tonight to say she is off the vent again and feisty. I'm hoping I'll get to hold her soon. I've just touched her a couple of times, and I really, really, really want to hold her. She'll have to stay in the hospital for a while still, but she is making progress.Thursday, August 6, 2009

What a rough road for one so young. Sounds like you need some serious time to get caught up on grandma kisses.
We are so excited she is doing better! Still not out of the woods, but definitely making good progress.
So glad to here she is doing better. Hopefully there will be no more setbacks and she'll be home soon.
