Two new babies -- PINK and BLUE!

The pink one belongs to my daughter, Jodi. I got to go with her today to the ultrasound. It was so awesome to see the baby moving around -- the spine, fingers, head, etc. Everything looks perfect....and it's a GIRL!! (I would be happy either way). Jodi pointed out to me that this little bundle of pink is our 6th grandbaby and is due the 6th day of the 6th month. Does that mean she's going to be a feisty little demon??
I was too lazy to hook up my old printer which has the scanner, but these pictures turned out pretty good.

Now the the BLUE baby. We got a new car yesterday. Totally unplanned. My car was acting up and had to go in for repairs. They let us test drive this over the New Year's Holiday and we absolutely loved it. It's an Eddy Bauer Explorer. We had an Explorer before and I've always wanted another one, so it was an easy decision.
It has heated seats, and lots of extras that we haven't figured out how to use yet. I love that it tells you how many miles you can go until empty! (We won't mention how many times I've run out of gas). It's easy to get in and out of for this old lady too.

Oh, I envy you your Explorer. My DH recently traded ours for a pickup. He loves it but I really liked the Ford.

I remember one famous time you ran out of gas. I think you were getting married the next day and couldn't figure out what was wrong with your car. I have heated seats, not needed too often here. I did use it when my back was sore.

Awe, new baby girl! Tell Jodi congratulations for me.
I'm glad you are loving the new wheels but I won't share that news with Pat. For the last five years he has been trying to get me to say goodbye to my 1999 red Grand Marquis. What can I say, I just love that land yacht!
