Projects under construction

I'm still working on this Halloween quilt I started a month ago. I thought I would have it done by now since I started early -- ha ha! Hopefully I'll be able to finish the top and quilt it in the next day or so. I still have the Wee Play Fabric quilt (same pattern as this one) to be finished. I ordered the Jelly Rolls on E-Bay and was obsessed with it...for about a week. I plan on finishing the blocks for it next.
I saw this "green" grocery bag in the Fall 2008 Quilts and More magazine and had to try it. It was really fast and easy. I want to make a few more and keep them in the car for shopping. I'm thinking they would make good Christmas gifts for friends, so hopefully I'll have time to do more.
I'm really enjoying the cooler fall weather. It makes me want to stay home and sew. It's also making it hard to get out of bed in the morning...but then I've never really been a morning person. I just want to stay under the warm blankets. Gary put up new blinds in our bedroom, the wood kind with thicker slats. They really block out the morning sunlight, so maybe that's part of the problem.

I'm excited to see how the halloween one comes together. Maybe it will be a good one to blog about next October? I have an Easter quilt that I pull out every spring and I still haven't finished. Maybe this next Easter?
