Old quilt ......Finally done....

This is the 3rd old quilt I finally finished machine quilting. It did my mother-in-law's, aunt Doris' and now this one is aunt Lois'. They were made by their grandma for graduation presents. I'm a little embarassed to admit that I've had this quilt for about a year and am now just getting to it. Can I say....it feels like a big relief to have it done.
I was nervous to do these quiltes because they are so old and I would hate to mess them up. This one was hand pieced. I can only imagine the hours and hours of work that went into it. The colors are kinda bright, but I love the overall look.
Our married kids stopped by last night with the grandkids. I got a picture of Jack and Brooklynn together. They are 3 weeks apart in age. Jack kept looking at Brooklynn...finally someone his size to play with.
