My mother-in-law (Marion) took a little spill yesterday -- well actually not so little. My in-laws are avid bowlers, even in their 70s now they still love to bowl. They go to St. George every fall for the Senior Games (coming up next week in fact). They were bowling yesterday and Marion tripped over a bowling bag and fell, hurting her shoulder
really bad. She dislocated and broke it. They sedated her in the ER and couldn't get things back, so they did surgery today.
They ended up having to replace her shoulder with something like this. We haven't been to see her yet since my Father-in-law said she is still pretty sedated. I feel so bad for her. It makes me cringe to think how much that must hurt!
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for her -- and thank goodness it wasn't her bowling shoulder!!

Yep, the Marathon was today and the Senior Games are coming up. I hope your MIL is on the mend soon.
