Provo River Trail

We live close to the Provo River Trail on the west side of the trail.  We've been taking walks on it every now and then since the weather got warm.  We're trying to make it habit to go 4 times a week, but life gets hectic.  We went a few days ago.  Jaycee rode her long board while Gary and I walked.
It was a fun walk....as always.  We walked to the lake and back, 3.25 miles.  Woo-hoo!!  It really is such a beautiful walk that you forget you are exercising.

The views really are just breathtaking!!  It's been fun to watch spring turn into summer, all the trees get their leaves.....and see the cotton flying in the air from the cottonwood trees.  Really plays havoc with your allergies.

We love listening to the birds.  There are always ducks swimming in the river.  This time we saw 1 mother duck and 22 ducklings.  Not sure if they were all hers or if it was a play date while another momma took a nap???
It was fun to see Mt. Timpanogos peeking through the trees.
