January Already???

 Brrrrr...baby it's cold outside.  Really cold when I took these pics.  We were going to run some errands and I noticed the snowflakes that had landed sideways and stuck.  Then I saw the snowflakes that landed flat and made the snowflake outlines.
 It was pure art by Mother Nature.  I was in awe of each perfect shape frozen to my car windows.  Here's a perk of not being able to park in your garage!!  I could hardly bring myself to let my husband scrape the windows.  {By the way, I never scrape my windows at 5:30 a.m. so I can drive to work.  My sweet husband gets up and does it for me.  How did I get so lucky?}
 Thanksgiving came so fast this year.  We had all of our kids and all the grandkids except our oldest grandson {missed your Brandon} over.  I love this Healthy Turkey that Jodi made.  Almost to cute to eat!  The kids helped out and brought food, but they really come for their Dad's cooking.  What does that say about me?  That I'd rather quilt then cook!!
 Gary makes the best stuffing.  I always hope that there's a little left over because I love it more than cold pizza for breakfast the next morning.  Yummy!!
 And here's what I like instead of turkey.  Ham.  In fact I didn't eat a bite of turkey at all this year.
I'm not big on making New Year's Resolutions, but this year I resolve to make more blog posts and be more candid.  I love to look back through this on-line diary of my life.  I find it's hard to post when great and glorious things aren't going on in life; but really there are so many little things to appreciate and put down in print and pictures.  I think I've gotten so caught up in looking at Facebook and Instagram where there are so many little snippets of life, but it's refreshing to look at a blog and have more details.

I love it when you post. You always have a perspective that gets me thinking. I love the snow pix. And I am grateful I don't live in Minnesota right now.
