1. There's more Fabric in the House than Food.
2. "Fat Quarters" are not the heaviest part of your body.
3. Your ironing board is always set up but you never iron clothes.
4. You think of your job as an interruption of your quilting time.
5. You pet Fabric. (I think I pet my fabrics more than my 2 dogs!)
6. People are always picking threads off you.
7. You leave a a trail of thread/fabric scraps through the house.
7. You can measure a scant 1/4 by eye.
8. Your "UFO's" are not from outer space.
Number 4 is a big one for me right now. Darn job really gets in the way of of my quilting. I have a vinyl sign on my sewing room wall that says "HEAVEN." I want to get one for my office that says "HELL" -- but how would I explain that to my boss if she stopped by???

I SO agree! and I love my job of teaching the second graders, but here it is Saturday night, and I feel so cheated of not getting to do one stitch for 3 days now! Love your list, I'm in it with ya! But, I would have a lot less fabric (and food) without the job, so, Hi HO!
:-} pokey
p.s. I love that carrot, too! That's one to be recorded in some book somewhere *vbg* pokey
Put the sign behind the door so no one can see it when the door is open. Very few boss' close your office door when they visit.
That reminds me of the sign mom put on your bedroom door when you were a teenager.

I'm guilty of 1 (1 year food, 3 year fabric, although the years's supply is low at the moment--case lot sale this weekend), 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. I'll have to work on the others.
that is hilarious. and I'm pretty sure Teresa would find it funny if she saw it.
LOL!!! You've hit the nail on the head with all that! lol! 8-)
